The SA series flow sensors are designed to detect and measure the flow and temperature of water, oil, glycol, and air in pipes up to 16" diameter and are ideal alternatives to mechanical flow switches.

These calorimetric flow sensors use the thermal measuring principle where RTDs in the medium compare the temperature at a reference point to the temperature in the flow. The difference is proportional to the flow rate. This temperature-based operating principle can reliably sense the flow of viutally any liquid or gas.
