Flat cables are compact electrical conductors that transmit power, signals, video, and data. Flat cables are used to transmit electrical signals or power while maintaining a low-profile, flexible design for efficient routing and space-saving.

The AS-i flat cable is an essential component of the quick connection concept, in which all components are connected via two poles by means of the insulation displacement technology. Thanks to their special shape, AS-i flat cables are protected against reverse polarity. AS-i cables are available in yellow, in black for an additional 24 V supply voltage, and in red for 230 V AC. The offered AS-i cable materials are EPDM, PUR and TPE. There are food-grade materials available for use in the food and beverage sector.
